Tracksys Technologies launches new version of TRACKsys Supply Chain Management.

December 5 2003--The new version, TRACKsys SCM 2.0, targets the needs of the Fresh Produce industry by providing key functionality to support packing operations, cooperative billing, and full product traceability back to the original supplier. Warehouse workers with mobile scanning devices are guided through simple processes such as; receiving, moving and processing products through to picking and dispatching orders to customers. Warehouse data is captured with barcode scanning technology deployed in a wireless network environment which reduces paper work and human error. Warehouse workers become more productive and the purchasing, sales and management functions receive accurate real-time data regarding inventory levels and warehouse operations.
TRACKsys SCM 2.0 was developed in collaboration with iPLATO, a consultant and application developer of wireless solutions for business. iPLATO was responsible for the solution specification, the development of the web front end, user interface and integration capability of the mobile scanning device.
