"Top 20 Logistics & e-Supply Chain Execs Named for 2001-2002 - International"
Winners Nominated and Selected by Peers
New York – The second annual Top 20 Logistics & e-Supply Chain Executives for 2001-2002 - International have been selected in a process sponsored by Richmond Events' The Logistics & e-Supply Chain Forum 2002. This year's Top 20 represents the second of two awards given by Richmond Events. The first, The Top 20 Logistics & e-Supply Chain Executives of 2001-2002 – Domestic were announced in October 2001. The executives who receive this second award still come from U.S.-based companies, but they have international responsibility.
Hundreds of executives were nominated by their peers for their creativity, commitment to the industry and results. But the final winners were selected by The Logistics & e-Supply Chain Forum 2002 Advisory Board consisting of Gordon Gilstrap, Director of Logistics, Hewlett-Packard Company; Dr. C. John Langley, John H. (Red) Dove Distinguished Professor of Logistics and Transportation, Georgia Institute of Technology; Wayne Bourne, VP Logistics & Transportation, Best Buy Co. and Lieutenant General Roy Beauchamp, US Army Materiel Command.
"Once again, this year's winners truly represent best in class in the logistics field. Each of them have contributed greatly to the benefit of the industry, and the overall success of their company," said Project Manager Jane Telfer.
The Top 20 will be invited as guests to Richmond Events' The Logistics & e-Supply Chain Forum 2002, May 6-9, held onboard the renowned liner Queen Elizabeth 2, where they will receive an award for their distinguished accomplishments. These individuals and their incredible achievements will be profiled in Penton Media's Chief Logistics Officer magazine in April.
